Context
Under the supervision of HR Manager, the HR assistant 1 assists the in carrying out administrative work and preparing and updating documents of delivering HR services, in line with the ICRC’s and delegations’ policies and the applicable laws and regulations.

Description of the role
The incumbent performs the following activities within the department:

Provides general secretarial and administrative support (updating staff files and contracts, handling correspondence, registration and filing, etc.)
Provides administrative follow-up for recruitment and training activities.
Ensures that information on HR issues under their responsibility is shared within the rest of the sub-delegation
Keeps records (e.g. absences) and ensures that HR data is off good quality and kept up p date, particulary regarding salary.
Responsible for drawing up the delegation’s payroll.
Carries out procedures related to local HR practice, taxes and social security.
Payroll responsible
May assist local or regional learning and development staff with administrative work.
