About the Role
Our client, a trailblazer in delivering affordable satellite internet across Africa, seeks a dynamic Business Manager to lead their Mozambique operations. This role is pivotal in driving growth, optimising performance, and shaping the digital future of underserved communities through strategic initiatives and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations at the Mozambique headquarters and distribution centre.
Oversee retail, agent, and partner performance nationwide, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Execute expansion initiatives: retail growth, hotspot deployments, and government partnerships.
Manage logistics, warehousing, and inventory of satellite internet kits (Starlink).
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of operations and sales professionals.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and financial discipline (budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
Achieve KPIs: >95% on-time delivery, 350+ active retailers, <10% budget variance.
