Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Unit Head to lead and manage sales operations, collections, and business development in Mozambique. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in driving revenue, customer retention, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced commercial environment. This role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and excellent team management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business goals.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute impactful campaigns and product initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development

Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales and operations team.
Set clear KPIs and monitor individual and team performance to achieve commercial targets.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collections & Financial Oversight

Strengthen credit control and debt recovery efforts to ensure strong cash flow.
Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and manage credit risk.
Maintain accurate reporting on receivables and collections for leadership review.
Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Conduct regular customer visits to assess satisfaction and anticipate future needs.
Resolve client escalations promptly and professionally.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Provide regular performance reports on sales, revenue, and collections.
Analyze performance trends and recommend data-driven strategies.
Work cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and operations to align business goals.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.
Proactively identify and address potential business risks.
