Responsibilities:
Participate in and provide input on commercial negotiations with the Government of Mozambique and Project Partners.
Contribute to the formulation of negotiation positions from a commercial standpoint. The incumbent drafts internal memos/summaries for the VP-Project Governance and the Business Development Manager.
Liaise with Project Partners, in coordination with Legal and other teams as necessary, in relation to ongoing commercial matters.
Participate in the fulfillment of mandatory reporting and corporate obligations of the Project’s Special Purpose Entities (SPE’s).
Ensure the provision of regular updates for the Business Development Manager and Project Partners regarding the status SPE’s reporting and corporate obligations.
Ensure the preparation and submission of the Project’s quarterly and annual activity reports to the National Petroleum Institute.

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Business or Law (however not a practicing attorney), Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Qualificação e Habilidades da oferta
10 or more years business experience preferably in Oil and Gas, Energy or Heavy industry.
Business experience in African Countries, preferably In Mozambique.
Preferred business experience includes:
Regular interaction with governmental agencies.
Commercial/negotiating experience.
Mining or forestry or energy (power, oil & gas, pipeline) – commercial/business related or operations management.
Business leadership/management or entrepreneurial business experience.
Fluent in both Portuguese and English.
