Security Services for Office Operation in Maputo, Mozambique

Tender Overview

We are seeking proposals from reputable security companies to provide 24-hour security services for our office located in Maputo, at Bairro Triumfo. The scope of security services required includes the provision of one security guard during the daytime and one during the night shift. Additionally, the company must detail the response services it offers in case of emergencies or security threats. The selected security company should be capable of fulfilling all security needs for our office operations in Maputo.

Scope of Services

The selected provider must offer comprehensive security services with a focus on the following key elements:

Personnel Services:

Daytime Security Guard: One security guard to be stationed at the office during standardbusiness hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

Nighttime Security Guard: One security guard to provide protection during non-business hours (6:00 PM – 8:00 AM).

All guards must be well-trained, professional, and capable of managing potential security incidents.

Patrol Services:

The security company must outline any patrol services that will be conducted around the office area during both day and night shifts, including patrol frequency and routes.

Access Control:

Management of building access, including checking ID cards, visitor registration, and any other security procedures to control unauthorized access.

Installation of security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems (if applicable) must be discussed, with an explanation of the monitoring procedures.

Response Services:

The security company must provide detailed information on the types of response services available in case of emergencies, such as:

Assistance in the case of theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. o Handling of potential fire or other disaster-related situations.
Proposal Requirements Security companies are invited to submit detailed proposals that include the following information:

Cost Breakdown: A clear breakdown of the pricing for both daytime and nighttime security personnel, including any additional services (patrols, response services, etc.).

Security Personnel Qualifications: A description of the qualifications, experience, and training of the security personnel to be assigned to our office. Include certifications or any other relevant security clearances.

Response Services: A detailed description of the company’s response services, including response times, emergency procedures, and any other relevant details.

Security Systems: Details on the security systems that may be installed or managed (e.g., CCTV, alarm systems), including the scope of their coverage and any associated costs.

Service Level Agreement (SLA): A proposed SLA that outlines the expected performance standards, including response times, security personnel availability, and escalation procedures for emergencies.

Security Company Reputation: A brief overview of the company’s track record and reputation for providing security services in Mozambique, including references or testimonials from previous clients.

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Cost-Effectiveness: Competitiveness of pricing for the required services, including any optional services.

Security Expertise: The experience, training, and qualifications of the security personnel and the company’s overall ability to manage the security needs of the office.

Response Time and Service Quality: The speed and effectiveness of response services in the event of an incident.

Reputation: The company’s experience and reputation in providing security services in Mozambique.

Security Systems: The quality and reliability of the proposed security systems and monitoring solutions.

Additional Services: The inclusion of any value-added services that enhance security (e.g., patrols, armed response, emergency assistance).
