TRANSPORTES LALGY IS HIRING: WAREHOUSE KEEPER – NACALA, TETE, MAPUTO

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Ensure the organization, safety, and control of the warehouse by supervising the activities of receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

DETAILS OF POSITION:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enter purchase details (supplier information, invoices, and prices) into the stock management software.
Organize the storage of goods according to product specifications and company policies.
Ensure the operations of receiving and dispatching goods.
Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
Track shipments and resolve any delays.
Supervise the storage of products.
Maintain updated inventory control, recording all entries and exits of goods in the system.
Guide the loading and unloading activities of products, ensuring the safety and integrity of the goods and the people involved in the activity.
Conduct regular safety inspections in the warehouse and report any irregularities.
Ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Comply with company safety rules.
Prepare stock management reports (damages, losses, deficits, etc.).
Be available to learn new technologies and processes related to stock management systems.
Perform other related activities in alignment with the supervisor.

Technical high school education, preferably with technical training in mechanics. A degree would be an advantage.
Ten years of prior experience in stock control or warehouse management of automotive parts.

Knowledge of stock management systems.
Computer skills, especially in spreadsheets and database management software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of safety
