The opportunity

EY’s tax practice provides comprehensive and specialized accounting and tax assistance tailored to the unique needs of our clients. You would join our accounting and tax professionals who are knowledgeable and experienced in providing bookkeeping and tax assistance to all our clients.



Your key responsibilities

As Accounting and Tax Consultant in our practice, you will be responsible for bookkeeping and tax assistance work for clients. You would work with Seniors, Managers through Partners on key client issues in domestic and international bookkeeping and tax matters with a focus on implementing accounting and tax solutions that align with the client’s business objectives and concerns.

Degree in law, accounting and auditing, human resources, administration, or other related areas.

Portuguese and English fluency;
Office package mastery (Word, Excel, and Power Point);
Proficiency in recording daily financial transactions and preparing financial statement reports;
Ability to analyze accounting records and ensure their compliance with accounting standards;
Strong knowledge of tax calculations, including VAT, IRPS, IRPC, and INSS;
Preparation of tax returns (VAT, IRPS, IRPC, and INSS);
Maintaining confidentiality in employer practices, including matters related to employees or individuals with whom the entity has a relationship, such as work processes, task planning, execution methods, and information handling.
